| Hi friends... Little bit of an update on my life. I'm doing well. I just spent a week in the hospital getting my appendix out but otherwise I'm on top of school work and working hard. Well, I changed my major. I'm no longer in Business. I'm an education major, studying French and TESL (Teaching english as a second language). My plan is still to go overseas and work in schools when I'm done. Or who knows, God may still call me to stay here (After manifesting himself in my room to tell me) or I may travel with the African Children's Choir. We'll see. I'm in my second year, I still have 3 years of school to go after this one. But I like being here, sometimes it's hard being away from home, but overall I really enjoy it. Being an RA this year has been amazing. Such a challange, but such fun. I've applied for a couple different positions for next year. We'll see where God takes me. I'm not going back to Haiti this year, things just didn't work out logistically, but I did go to San Francisco in the fall for an inner city trip. I loved it, it was so much fun. Well, I think that's it. Let me see if I can find some pictures for you. A friend of mine took this picture while we were in San Fran
This is my roommate Jes. We do almost everything together!
This is most of my dorm Again, my dorm, a little bit more sophisticated! The dorm one week making cookies during dorm meeting.

| Heloooo Friends! Wow, life is crazy here. I'm back in BC at school and so much is new. I changed my major, I'm in Education now, not in Business. I'm going to go into teaching overseas someday, it was a big decision, but I'm loving it. I'm minoring in French and probably Teaching English as a second language. We'll see about the last one though. I'm an RA at school, and loving it. It's hard sometimes to organize my life and stuff, but I really do love it. Hmm, I guess that's really all the changes, but they've been pretty life changing! You know, does anyone from my year ever even do xanga anymore? I feel like the world has opted for facebook now instead:) Peace out Rebeka | | |

| Hello Xanga world! Wow, it's been a while since I've updated! So much has changed since April! I'm back at home now for the summer in Ontario living with my family. I'm really loving it! Last year was kinda hard living at home, living under the house rules again, but this summer I'm really enjoying it! School went super well last year, I've maintained my scholarship for next year, as well I'm going to be an RA in the dorms:) That makes me excited, nervous, but excited! This summer I'm working as an administrative assistant to a Financial Advisor. It's going really well, actually, I've landed a sweet job. Not many people can say they've landed a summer job in their field their first summer after their first year of University! (I'm in Business if you didn't know). So that's going well, I'm doing the normal AA stuff, then the ministry related aspect of the business cause my boss is a Christian. Like I said, sweet job. At Church I'm starting a small group for jr youth, it will be really focused on leadership related issues and character development so that in the fall, they will be the CORE group in the Jr youth group. I'll let you know how that goes. My Jesus? All powerful and amazing. I'm reading Driven by Eternity right now-- READ IT! It's so so good! Very eye opening. Oh! How could I forget! My brothers getting married this weekend! Yay! | | |
